Commercial Terms Governing All Trade Transactions
These Terms & Conditions govern the commercial relationship between JewelryWorld.in (the 'Platform' and 'Seller') and all trade buyers ('Purchaser' or 'Buyer') who engage with our platform for the purpose of sourcing, ordering, or purchasing jewellery and related accessories under any of our three brands: Orooba, Rivido, and Ziloo. These terms apply to all transactions conducted through JewelryWorld.in unless superseded by a separate written agreement explicitly signed by authorised representatives of both parties. Submitting an order or purchase inquiry constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions in full.
1. Ordering and Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ)
All orders placed through JewelryWorld.in must comply with the applicable Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ) for the selected product SKU and brand. MOQ requirements are stated in product documentation and quotations, and vary based on product category, craft technique, customisation requirements, and brand. Orders failing to meet the applicable MOQ may be rejected, subject to a small-quantity surcharge, or deferred until combined with other orders to meet threshold requirements. Custom MOQs — including reduced MOQs for established repeat buyers — may be negotiated through separate written supply agreements
2. Pricing, Quotations, and Payment
All prices are stated in formal quotations issued by JewelryWorld.in and are exclusive of applicable GST, customs duties, and freight charges unless explicitly stated otherwise. Quotation prices are valid for the period specified in the quotation document and are subject to revision thereafter based on raw material costs (metal, plating, stones), artisan production rates, and market conditions. New buyers are required to provide advance payment or a deposit before production or dispatch commences. Established buyers with a verified commercial history may be extended credit facilities following formal credit evaluation. Accepted payment instruments include NEFT, RTGS, IMPS bank transfers, demand drafts, and SWIFT transfers for international transactions.
3. Delivery, Dispatch, and Risk Transfer
Goods are dispatched within the lead times confirmed in the sales documentation, accommodating production schedules, quality inspections, and logistics coordination. Partial dispatches may be made for large orders, with each shipment individually invoiced and tracked. Risk of loss or damage to goods transfers to the Buyer upon handover to the nominated carrier at our dispatch point, unless a separate Incoterm or delivery arrangement is explicitly agreed in writing. For export orders, risk transfer follows the Incoterm specified in the export sales contract. Buyers are responsible for all import duties, destination-country taxes, customs clearance costs, and local delivery charges unless otherwise agreed.
4. Inspection, Claims, and Returns
Buyers are required to inspect all received goods within 48 hours of delivery and must report any claim — including transit damage, short-supply, plating defects, stone loss, or quality non-conformity — within seven (7) calendar days of delivery. Claims must be submitted with supporting photographic evidence, the order number, SKU and batch identifiers, and a written description of the issue. Following claim verification, JewelryWorld.in will propose a resolution: replacement shipment for proven manufacturing defects, partial credit or invoice adjustment for minor discrepancies, or full refund for batches confirmed as unusable for their intended retail purpose.
5. Customisation and Private Label Terms
Customisation orders — including private labelling, bespoke design development, custom plating specifications, and non-standard packaging — are governed by a separate Customisation Agreement executed before production commences. Customisation orders require a higher minimum quantity, a non-refundable design development deposit, and extended lead times. Once production begins on a custom order, cancellation is not permitted without forfeiture of the paid deposit. We maintain strict confidentiality for all private-label and custom-design clients and do not share or cross-market their designs to competing buyers.
6. Limitation of Liability
JewelryWorld.in's total liability for any claim arising from a transaction is strictly limited to the invoice value of the affected goods. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, incidental, or special damages, including lost profits, business interruption, or reputational harm, except where mandated by applicable Indian law. Buyers indemnify JewelryWorld.in against claims arising from product misuse, improper storage, exposure to chemicals or moisture, unauthorised modifications, or resale in markets where the product does not comply with local regulations.
7. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. All disputes arising from transactions on JewelryWorld.in are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Delhi, India, unless an alternate forum is explicitly agreed in a signed bilateral agreement. Parties are encouraged to first attempt amicable resolution through mutual negotiation, and if unsuccessful, through formal mediation before initiating litigation proceedings.
